It was early - 8 am and I had just woken up at 6 to run 5k (on a treadmill, of course). We squished into the van and were on our way. In the car we joked in hindi, teasing one of the guys because of his weight. I laughed and gazed out of the window. Two large, tan army vehicles drove by in the other direction and the car fell silent.
